ABOUT PLAID FRIDAY // PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES // GET INVOLVED // SPONSORS

If you own an independently owned and operated business and would like to participate in Plaid Friday we welcome you. This is a free and open movement, all volunteer run. We just have some general guidelines for participating

While we support all small business ventures, Plaid Friday is designed to help promote the small brick and mortar businesses that are open to the public year round. The campaigns objective is to stimulate support for local business during the Holiday Shopping season and to foster new customers for elevated yearlong foot traffic and sales. Please be sure to like the Facebook page and post your events to the page, along with images of your events and people wearing plaid.

Guidelines for participating in Plaid Friday:

  • Is this business privately held and not publicly traded?
  • Does this business have six or less outlets?
  • Is the business an independent business, not affiliated with a national chain or franchise?
  • Does the business have a brick and mortar location that is open to the public?
  • If you answered yes to all of these questions than we are happy to extend an invitation to join the Plaid Friday movement.
